There is so much to do in Dahab and the surrounding area, you'll be so spolit for choice!  Activities and excursions include boat and camel safaris, quad biking, horse riding and desert trekking, scuba diving, snorkelling, windsurfing, kitesurfing and other water sports which can be arranged in advance or on arrival.

Visit Saint Catherine’s Monastery during a trip to Mount Sinai and see the renowned multi-cultural collection of icons, books and religious artefacts.

After climbing Mount Sinai "Moses Mountain", you are rewarded with a breathtaking view and the famous sunrise at the summit of Sinai’s highest peak… an experience not to be missed whilst in Sinai!

Day or overnight trips to the beautiful Coloured Canyon, Wadi Gnai, the White Canyon or the Oasis of Ain Hudra can also be arranged.

Something really special is a Bedouin mountain dinner under the stars. You will be collected from Red Rock at sunset, either by jeep or your very own camel, and take a short ride to one of the stunning local valleys, "wadi" in Arabic.

There you will sit on a carpet round an open fire while your Bedouin hosts cook up a fabulous chicken, fish, meat or veggie feast in front of you. Eat and sip sweet Bedouin tea in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings, the majestic mountains as your backdrop.  Lie back and take in the most unbelievable star filled sky and remember these moments always!

yoga

Dahab is the centre of Yoga in the near East. Yoga found its natural home in Dahab when, not long ago, it was a real hippy hang out.

We can offer you private classes in the privacy of your apartment with one of Dahab's superb teachers, either in your apartment or up on the beautiful roof terrace when temperatures allow.

desert jeep safari

A truly amazing experience driving through the sands of the Sinai desert, somtimes including a special en-route visit to a Bedouin village.  An excursion to the Coloured Canyon is one the most common from Dahab. It takes its name from the layers of bright, multicoloured stones across the steep, narrow walls. The patterns are made up of a mix of sandstone and limestone, with colours ranging from pink to brown and from yellow to green.

horse riding

Whether you're a skilled equestrian or a novice rider, when you mount one of many highly trained Dahab horses you will soon feel confident enough to ride up a mountain or canter along the shore at sun set on a beautiful Arabian horse.

wind and kite surfing

By far a couple of the most popular water sports in Dahab are wind and kite surfing. With the high north winds and good currents it is a favoured location for surfers from all around the world.

There are some excellent stations in Dahab we can hook you up, either in advance or on arrival. Every level is catered for, from absolute beginner to extreme junkie.
